Do not worry, here at the Special Risks Bureau we specialise in placing cover for a wide range of medical conditions, hazardous pursuits and occupations. Just because you have been declined cover by one provider be it through a bank, estate agent, broker or direct, this does not mean that you will be declined life cover everywhere you go.
Many people believe that once they have been declined life insurance that they have a black mark against their name so any future applications will be declined. This is a common misconception. Many insurers now do not ask if you have been refused life cover elsewhere and even if they do it has no bearing on the terms they offer.
The first thing is to contact us, our advisers can help you to identify why you may have been declined cover. Once the reason for a declinature has been determined then our adivsors can research the market to see if cover is available, and if so, on what terms and at what price.
We do not normally charge any fees for our services. We are only paid if a policy is sourced and proceeds. Even then Special Risks Bureau will be paid commission by the insurance company. We do not however, like many brokers and banks do, 'inflate' premiums. This means you pay the same or less by using us than you would do by going direct to the insurance provider.
