Income Protection for skydivers will often result in an exclusion for your skydives, if you skydive as a hobby (one off jumps do not count). This can often be the best option for people as it means they do not have to pay extra for their cover. If you only perform one off jumps then you should get your cover at normal terms with no exclusion.
If you are a frequent skydiver and you wish to have cover for your activities you should be able to achieve this through a combination of Accident/Sickness Cover and Income Protection. If the right providers are chosen this could provide you with 12 months cover for your skydiving activities and then from 12 months until retirement with the exclusion. If you would like to see some options for this, why not call us 0800 567 7450.

Skydiving involves a jump from an aircraft, often between 1,000 to 4,000 metres, back towards the earth with the use of a parachute to control the fall. The skydiver will then use the parachute canopy to control their descent until they reach a safe landing location.
Parachuting or Skydiving can involve freefalls, it can be done solo or as a tandem and can be done as a formation dive. There are also more dangerous activites such as base jumping and wing suit flying.
